Hello, I’m Alan (Al, Franko, oi, chappy, the photographer man, baldy, STEVE! (Meerkat reference) to name a few names that I have been called at a wedding) and I am a wedding photographer who lives in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

“Why be a wedding photographer in Gloucestershire?” well the Cotswolds is a stunning place that holds many incredible wedding venues and I have had the pleasure to tick quite a few of the list. That is the response I normally give, but I think what is mean’t when that is asked is “Why be a wedding photographer, that must be so stressful?” Indeed it can be as you are trusted to photograph the couples day from bridal prep through to first dance, catching all those special moments, the bridal prep, the dress, anything thats unique to the bride or family like jewellery of love ones lost, the reveal, some groom prep, the service, the photos, cake cutting and first dance (to name a few) My response to this is that I absolutely love it and do my best to feel part of the family if only for a day. I love producing the images that you will cherish forever and look back on with happy tears in the years to come.
My style of photography as I like to put it is non-posed candid, yes you have to have a few posed pics with family and friends but I just prefer to be there in the background, capturing all those moments that you may not see, people enjoying themselves, the laughs, the tears, the children running around.
Living in Cheltenham is great, so many lovely venues in and around Gloucestershire but I am also happy to travel further afield if you are the perfect couple.
I offer wedding photography packages to suit all, from half day through to full day, photo books to wedding albums, but can also do a bespoke package should you want to mix and match.
The wedding day goes so fast, one minute it is the bridal prep, then all of a sudden it is first dance and you think “where did that go” my advice to this is just relax, enjoy the day, every hour take a step back, take a deep breath and take it all in and let me worry about the photos. I will be as helpful as I can throughout the day and also will whisk you away for a short time after the service and before the wedding breakfast, 30 minutes max, just to do some of your pics and this also gives you a break from the crowds just to take a moment for you both.
